Arham Education and Research Society, Udaipur was founded on 17th September 2004 by its Founder President Dr. Dev Kothari, an eminent educationist with the purpose of imparting education to the economically and socially deprived sections of society in Southern part of Rajasthan, which despite its being a region of rich resources, lags behind the other regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat in the educational growth owing to the paucity of the Centres of Excellence in the field of Medical, Engineering, Management, Nursing and Teacher Education. Accordingly, the society aims at establishing Centres of Excellence in the field of education. To begin with the society has moved proposals to the state and central governments to establish Centres of Excellence in the field of Nursing and Teacher education.
We, at the society firmly believe that teacher is the maker of a nation. It is through the teacher only that the proper identification, care and nurture of the gifted and bright children which constitute the main strength of a developed / developing society , is possible. The children, the most important human resource, if nurtured and developed properly will benefit not only the individual, but the community, the nation and the world as a whole. All of us are too painfully aware that potential Einsteins and Gandhis are herding cattle and breaking stones for want of opportunities to have access to quality education. Immediately after independence, our first and foremost concern naturally was the linear expansion of education. Time has come for us to pay due attention to the quality of education and, of course, prepare trained teachers for them.
The Arham Education and Research Society is registered vide no. 125/Udaipur/2004/05, dated 17th September, 2004. The sister concern of the society Arihant Bharati Foundation Trust is working in the field of education at Surat in Gujarat.
